Understanding Studentcare Coverage
At Arbutus Station Dental, our clinic provides an additional discount for UBC students registered on the AMS/GSS Studentcare plan. The plan details are available here.
Effective September 1, 2024, coverage for preventative services (i.e. recalls, cleanings, extractions of impacted teeth) are covered 70% by your UBC plan and our office provides an additional 30% discount, resulting in 100% coverage.
Your plan covers 40% of basic services. Major restorative services are not covered (see table below for details). At Arbutus Station Dental, as part of the Studentcare Dental Network, we provide an additional 20 – 30% discount for these services.
