• Wound closure

Lastly, the wound is closed to prevent bacteria from going into the socket. Your dentist will ask you to return after 7 days to remove the stitches and evaluate your healing progress.

Some discomfort and bleeding are expected within a few hours after the surgery. Bite on a gauze to control bleeding and improve healing.
